The RIOTERS had tried many time to break into the LegCo building. First under the disguise of "peaceful protest", while employing violent tactics armed with bricks, and charging with helmet, shields, makeshift spears in hands. When they finally broke through on 1 July 2019, they trashed the place, stole documents and computers in a pre-planned heist, disfigured the HK emblem, and flew the British colonial flag.
